What is a prediction?
A prediction is a single call on a specific outcome. Each prediction contains:- Outcome and market: the team, player, or result the creator is backing (for example, Lakers -3.5 or Over 224.5)
- Odds: the price when the prediction was submitted, in American, decimal, fractional, or percentage format
- Platform source: the prediction platform where the odds originated
- Status: whether the prediction is
pending,won,lost, orpush
What is a prediction card?
A prediction card is a named group of one or more predictions submitted by a creator at a point in time. Creators give the card a title, attach their predictions, and publish it to their profile. Followers see prediction cards in their feed and track how a creator’s calls perform over time. Publishers embed prediction card feeds and individual prediction cards on their own sites. See the Feed widget and the Prediction card widget for embed details.Prediction lifecycle
A prediction starts as pending once a creator submits it. When the game or event concludes, Tallysight resolves each prediction to one of these statuses:
Resolved predictions roll up into the creator’s overall record, which appears on feed cards and creator profiles.
How creators use predictions
Creators publish predictions and prediction cards inside the Tallysight platform. A published card appears in workspace feeds and in search. Each card adds to the creator’s tracked record, so followers can judge accuracy over time. How publishers use predictions
Publishers embed creator predictions on their sites with the Feed widget and the Prediction card widget. Both pull live data from the Tallysight API and render it with prediction platform logos, partner links, and live status badges.Verified and community creators
The Feed widget has three content scopes, selectable with tabs:- Verified: predictions from creators reviewed and approved by Tallysight
- Community: predictions from all other registered creators
- All: verified and community predictions combined
